Devastating consequences of the rapid climate change and critical rise in the air temperatures put humanity on the brink of existence and shifted our focus towards new goals in human progress. The efforts of scientists and practicing agronomists are now primarily focused on countering these highly negative developments.

Anticipating this situation more than ten years ago, TEKMASH Institute designed a new technology and developed an innovative product line under a common name BIO-GEL, to COMBAT DROUGHT and its consequences. Ten years of scientific and practical research in the harsh conditions of Southern Ukraine on sandy and loam soils, salt marshes, and light southern soils let us state that a technology to combat drought has been designed and successfully tested. Implementation of the technology on hundreds of thousands of hectares and on various crops allowed our company to become a leader among producers of organic fertilizers and biological products in Ukraine (the fertilizer is produced under the LEANUM® trademark).

BIO-GEL is a super-organic plant bio-fertilizer that contains a mix of useful soil microflora and organic substances extracted from fertile soils. Thanks to the patented production technology (HTD-Technology®) this product combines components previously thought incompatible, while preserving their integrity and biological activity. BIO-GEL contains SIGNAL MOLECULES that forewarn plants about the approaching droughts, which is especially important in the current context of global warming. The product combines natural (or “aborigine”) bacteria found in fertile soil, organic humic and fulvic acids, amino acids, and vitamins.

The bacteria have been subjected to "thermal hardening" when they are exposed to temperatures above 60°C. This creates an effective rhizobial symbiosis between roots, microorganisms and soil, allowing the plants to form a powerful root system even at high soil temperatures. This effectively grants plants increased heat resistance.

BIO-GEL improves the plant stress resistance (including resistance to droughts), increases the yield of field crops by 0.7 t/ha for wheat, 0.5 t/ha for sunflower, 1.5 t/ha for corn, allows plants to survive in semi-desert and desert conditions, accelerates land reclamation (including soils affected by forest fires), restores soil fertility and helps to restore/improve the composition of soil microflora.

DROUGHT. “CURE” FOR DROUGHT

BIO-GEL bacteria work at soil surface temperatures up to 60˚С, helping to “loosen” it, preventing overheating and moisture loss. An effective drought remedy. BIO-GEL bacteria are not affected by ultraviolet radiation.

ROOT FORMATION

The more we seek original methods for restoring the fertility of the planet's soils, the more we move away from the very concept of "fertility".

The proposed method of the conservation and restoration of soil fertility is radically different from 99% of the alternatives. If we keep in mind that fertility directly depends on the amount of microbiota of the natural, and not the artificial origin, then it becomes obvious that the approach proposed by TEKMASH has no viable alternatives today.
